Lenore the Cat needs a home

Lenore was rescued by ACPAW the day after she gave birth to a litter of kittens. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about her past but we do know, even though she was very tired and underweight, she was a good mom to her babies. She is a beautiful six year old Russian blue type cat.
Some people think Lenore looks a little grumpy but we prefer to describe her facial expression as regal. She is very gentle and loving in her own way and is still discovering the joy of humans. She isn’t much of a lap cat yet but she likes to be petted and have her back scratched indefinitely. Recently, she decided sleeping in bed is a good thing to do.
During the day, Lenore likes to nap in a chair. Any chair is acceptable but preferably one in the sun with a soft blanket. She will hold court from her throne any time. Lenore is learning to play with toys. She likes soft balls and dislikes anything noisy. Her favorite game is chasing balls of yarn down the stairs and then attacking the string of yarn while her foster mom pulls it up the stairs. She also likes to ride in a car.
Even though Lenore would like to find her “bestie” soon, she is very patient and willing to wait for just the right person. A mature woman who lives in a quiet home without any other pets is preferable. So if you fit this criteria, Lenore would love to meet you.
